MEET THE TEACHERS

Twin sisters Kathryn and Georgia Bullen founded Les Jumelles Academy of Dance in 2018 and are the priciples of the Academy.

Georgia and Kathryn started their ballet training at the young age of 3 and have continued to follow their passion ever since. They are both fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet teachers.

They have 10 years’ experience of working with children age 3+, teaching students in a variety of dance genres, such as, ballet, jazz, commercial and contemporary.

Prior to studying with RAD, both teachers trained in a wide range of dance styles. They also hold a Level 3 Diploma in Dance with distinction star grades (highest achievement). They will be regularly refreshing their knowledge and skills in order to provide their students with the best possible standard of training.

Kathryn and Georgia focus on using an enjoyable, yet disciplined, approach to teaching to ensure their students are achieving the desired technique, but are also having a great time. They believe in equality and welcome all levels and abilities to their classes.

Both teachers ensure inclusion, safeguarding and adhere to GDPR.

Kathryn and Georgia have both demonstrated competence in emergency first aid at work and gained the skills and knowledge under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations Act 1981.

Whether it be as a hobby, or to obtain a professional career in dance, anyone can benefit from the skills gained through their classes.
